General Policies
This site does not claim to diagnose SIBO or IBS, and all information contained herein is for informational and educational purposes only. Treatment for SIBO should be done by a qualified and licensed healthcare provider. As such, kit sales and analysis are restricted to qualified healthcare providers only.
Billing for purchased testing kits will take place after the order has been submitted and prior to shipping. The invoice or receipt will be sent along with shipment. Billing for analysis will take place after the analysis is complete.
Properly collected QuinTron and TRIO-SMART samples are viable for 14 days from collection. IBSSMART samples are viable for 5 days from collection. It is strongly recommended that samples be shipped to SIBO Diagnostics (or Gemelli Biotech for TRIO-SMART and Pacific Dx for IBS-SMART) as soon as possible following collection and that a shipping method be used that allows for tracking and guaranteed delivery date. Analysis is completed in the order in which the completed samples are received, but collection date will be considered to prevent samples expiring after being received at the lab.
Shipping Policies
All kit orders will be shipped within 2 business days of the order being placed unless otherwise informed. The address provided on your account will be the default address used for shipping. If the minimum kit order has not been reached, a shipping fee will be added to the order total. SIBO Diagnostics reserves the right to ship with any freight carrier or speed of service, and this is subject to change at the discretion of management. If a priority shipping service is required by the customer, the cost of the increased service will be at the responsibility of the customer.
To qualify for free shipping, a minimum kit order must be made:
- 3 kit minimum order for Western Canada, including: BC, AB, SK, MB, YK, and NWT
- 6 kit minimum order for Eastern and Northern Canada, including: ON, QC, NU, NB, NS, PEI, and NFL.
The return shipping cost of test samples is not included in the kit fee and is the responsibility of the ordering physician or patient.
